]]>Today I am coming to you with a nail tutorial! I am usually awful at doing fancy designs on my nails, but they look so easy in the photos! This tutorial however is so simple that you could do it blind folded. This is inspired by water colors, so I kept with the pastel theme. The tools you will need are: any type of makeup sponge, a top and base coat, and however many pastel colored nail polishes you would like to use.
Step One: Start off with clean nails by using nail polish remover to remove any polish or build up.
Step Two: Prep your nails. Apply your base coat. I used OPI’s Base Coat.
Step Three: Take your first color and dab it onto the sponge, apply it liberally. I used Essie’s Bikini So Teeny.
Step Four: Dab in stippling motions the sponge onto your nails. I chose random spots on my nail to dab it.
Step Five: Repeat steps 2 & 3 with the other colors you want to use. They should start to overlap and look like water colors. For my other two colors I used Essie’s Mint Candy Apple and Revlon Colorstay’s Cafe Pink. Apply your top coat and – voila - your marble sponge mani is complete!

]]>Eyeliner can dramatically change the appearance of your eyes, so today I will be showing you 4 different ways to wear your eyeliner. My two favorite liquid eyeliners are the NYC Liquid Eyeliner and the ELF Liquid Eyeliner. They both have easy to use brushes and the formulas stay all day. Today I will be using my NYC eyeliner.
1) The first to wear your liquid eyeliner is the subtle cat eye that has a short wing and a thin line going across the eyelid. This is more toned down for an everyday look, or for someone with round eyes that wants to make them look bigger!
2) The second way is a more natural look with no wing and a thin line across the lid. This would be perfect for someone who doesn’t want too dramatic of a look, or maybe if you just need something to help conceal your false eyelashes.
3) The third way to wear your liquid eyeliner is what I like to call the “Mod”. This of course stems from Twiggy in the 60′s. It has a short wing, but a very thick line going all the way across the eyelid. This might be more flattering for someone who has bigger eyelids.
4) The last is my personal favorite, and that is the dramatic cat eye. This involves a very long wing extending up towards your eyebrow, and a thick line going across the eyelid. The dramatic cat eye is perfect for a night out!
