The french manicure has been reinvented countless times. But in the end, the classic is pretty hard to beat! It’s girly, clean and goes well with just about any outfit! Although this french manicure requires practice, it’s anything but impossible to achieve on your own. So why pay at the salon when you can do it yourself? Grab the proper tools and follow the steps below to french manicure like a pro!

  1. Start with a base coat color. (This step is optional, if you prefer the ‘pink & white’ look you may want to start with a light nude pink as a base coat!)
  2. Use the stickers to mark off your nail. You can place these as close to the edge as you want to make your tip thicker or thinner.
  3. Add white nail polish to the exposed tip of your nail. Once set, peel off sticker.
  4. Continue step 2 and 3 on all of your nails. Once tips are dry, add a shiny clear top coat!

Now that you’ve mastered the classic french manicure, feel free to take it up a notch! Play with color combinations and even add appliques or glitter! Whether you dress it up or keep it simple, the french manicure will never go out of style!
