Step 1: Begin with clean, dry hair in whatever texture you want it for the hairstyle. I kept my hair in its natural texture and to make the look more messy and bohemian I also teased it a bit.

Step 2: Take about a 3 inch section from the middle of one side of your head.

Steps 3 and 4: Braid the section that we just grabbed and secure with an elastic at the end.

Steps 5 and 6: Repeat the same process on the other side.

Steps 7 and 8: Place your index finger on the inside of the braid and pull it across your forehead to the other side. Placing your index finger here will help keep the braid flat and get rid of any ugly bumps that can occur when positioning braids.

Step 9: Secure the braid in place with a bobby pin.

Steps 10 and 11: Do the same thing with the braid on the other side.

Step 12: Adjust the braid to your liking and pin away any parts that seem out of place. Spray with a bit of hairspray and voila!

Kouturekiss _ Get Loopy

  1. Begin with your hair in it’s natural texture. This hairstyle works best if you begin with a middle part, but you could do a side part as well.
  2. Pull all of your hair into a side ponytail.
  3. Section the hair above the ponytail into two parts.
  4. Pull the ponytail backwards through the hole you just made.
  5. Gently tighten the ponytail to make sure it’s secure
  6. Gently pull the hair above the ponytail to loosen it up a little.
  7. Wrap another ponytail around the hair about 2 inches below the one above it (depending on how thick your hair is), and make another hole for the hair to go through.
  8. Pull the hair through and gently pull just like you did before.
  9. Continue doing this until you reach the end, and… voila!

The Braided Headband _ Kouturekiss

  1. Begin with your hair already styled the way you want it when the braid is in (i.e. straight, wavy, curled, etc). I chose to straighten mine.
  2. Section off your hair beginning parallel to the arch of your eyebrow, and the hair that falls in front of year as well (this will help you to hide the start of the braid later on).
  3. Section off a 2×2 inch section of hair and begin loosely braiding.
  4. Tie off the end of your braid with an elastic.
  5. Wrap the braid over the top of your head and place it wherever works best for your hair cut and style.
  6. Place the end of the braid underneath a section of hair to hide it, and secure with a bobby pin.
  7. To add more volume and drama, tease the hair behind the braid and smooth it over to avoid any stray hairs.
  8. Apply a finishing creme or spray and…
  9. Voila!
