The High Pony Fishtail Braid

Spring, summer, fall or winter, the high ponytail is a go-to style for all seasons. If you’re rushing or just want to get your hair out of the way a nice sleek ponytail always does the trick. The ponytail style has been around for years but has evolved with time. We currently see different types of hair dos whether it has to do with braids, waves or buns. The key to all of these different hair dos is using the right tools and to practice, practice, practice. Today I will be demonstrating a sleek high ponytail with a fishtail braid, but I will also be adding some twist to it for a chic and trendy hairstyle you’ll love wearing no matter what Mother Nature throws at you.

1. Brush your hair tangle free. Tip: Invest in a boar hairbrush. I love this brush the different nylon and boar bristles tend to brush every strand of hair and scalp. It keeps my hair freeze and static free it also makes my hair much smoother and gives it shine by distributing my hair natural oils.  (more…)
