Trick or treat? It’s Halloween! Everyone’s favorite time of year to experiment and get a little crazy with their makeup and costumes. You could be scary, funny, outrageous or a little bit sexy! So here’s a Halloween inspired eye look, guaranteed to catch the eye of every vampire, ghost and werewolf in the room!
- Cover your entire lid in the black cream shadow or liner. Bring it just above the crease, right into the corner of your eye and into a feline flick on the outer corner. Take an eyeshadow brush and blend the edges of the black so they become a little softer.
- Take your eye pencil and apply black right the way along your lower lash line (be sure to get the waterline and join up the corners too!)
- Now, use the pencil to draw a small line from the inner corner of the eye down towards the nose – hypnotic animal eyes!
- Take your eyelash glue or adhesive and apply to the entire eyelid, BUT make sure to leave a small gap between where the glue ends and where the black makeup ends! This will leave some of the black showing and will define the glitter. Now the fun part! Dip a small brush in to the loose glitter and starting from the inner eye and working outwards, press the glitter onto the glue.
- Really pack it on. The sparklier, the better!
- Leave this all to set for 5 minutes and then you’re ready for magic and mischief! Add some mascara – and voila!
Try using different colored glitters, or one that will compliment your outfit! This eye look works for cats, witches, vampires, devils – you name it! Try it out and stay out of trouble! Happy Halloween!

When I do my summer makeup I like to stick with a fresh faced look that says “I look good without trying”. Always remember to start off with a clean and moisturized face before putting on any makeup.
- Apply a very sheer coat of your favorite foundation and powder. (I used Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Medium Beige and Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder)
- Apply a cream highlighter with your fingers along the top of your cheekbone. (I used Benefit’s What’s Up)
- Now let’s add some “coraly” whipped blush. Always apply with your fingers to get the most natural looking application. (I used L’Oreal whipped blush in Angelic) (more…)

Eyeliner can dramatically change the appearance of your eyes, so today I will be showing you 4 different ways to wear your eyeliner. My two favorite liquid eyeliners are the NYC Liquid Eyeliner and the ELF Liquid Eyeliner. They both have easy to use brushes and the formulas stay all day. Today I will be using my NYC eyeliner.
1) The first to wear your liquid eyeliner is the subtle cat eye that has a short wing and a thin line going across the eyelid. This is more toned down for an everyday look, or for someone with round eyes that wants to make them look bigger! (more…)

Chanel your inner bohemian goddess this summer with the mini half-up double waterfall twist — a version of the classic waterfall twist, this ultra-cool style is easy-to-do and gives an effortlessly beachy vibe.
- Start with hair’s natural texture—subtle waves will enhance this style’s beachy feel.
- Take a small section of hair close to the temple, leaving some pieces to hang loosely in front, and separate that section into two equal pieces.
- Twist the piece closest to the hairline over the second piece.
- Holding the two pieces of hair in one hand, grab a small piece of hair from above the twisted section in your other hand and place it between the first and second pieces. Let the new piece hang loosely—you will never add hair to the original sections. (more…)
