When I do my summer makeup I like to stick with a fresh faced look that says “I look good without trying”. Always remember to start off with a clean and moisturized face before putting on any makeup.
- Apply a very sheer coat of your favorite foundation and powder. (I used Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Medium Beige and Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder)
- Apply a cream highlighter with your fingers along the top of your cheekbone. (I used Benefit’s What’s Up)
- Now let’s add some “coraly” whipped blush. Always apply with your fingers to get the most natural looking application. (I used L’Oreal whipped blush in Angelic) (more…)

Think purple shadows only compliment green eyes? False! Blue-eyed gals can pull them off too. Shades of lilac atop blue eyes create an analogous color scheme perfect for spring—here’s how to create a soft smokey eye with purple hues:
- Apply a primer to bare lids using your ring finger to create a smooth surface and to help eye shadows stay in place, remain true to color and be crease-free. Using a large eye brush, apply the second-lightest shadow in your palette to your lid and brow bone. (more…)
