Blowdry, Blowdry, Blowdry! From Frizzy to Fabulous in Less than 5 Steps

October 24, 2012

When it comes to wanting smooth, straight hair, our first thought is usually to turn to our flat irons. But what if you could achieve glossy strands without the excessive heat? It turns out your blow dryer is more of an asset than you think. Read below to transform your frizzy hair in less than 5 steps!

  1. Blow dry your hair until it’s dry.
  2. Use a small amount of smoothing serum in your palm and rub evenly throughout your hair (especially on the ends!).
  3. Start on a small section of hair. Using a round brush, pull hair and angle your blow dryer over your hair.
  4. In a slow steady movement pull the brush through your hair until you’ve reached the ends. Depending on how frizzy your hair is, you may need to repeat this step a few times on the same piece of hair. Continue this step on the rest of hair. Finally, lock in the shine with a bit more serum!

Voila! You should now have soft, silky hair and all you needed was a blow dryer! Keep in mind that this technique will take longer than a flat iron, but by using a brush and blow dryer, you can achieve smooth locks without sacrificing body and volume. So say good bye to the frizz and hello to fabulous hair!
