Have your ever just changed your hair color so dramatically and now you can’t figure out what lipsticks to wear? I just recently had this problem switching to bright blonde to a very dark brunette. I have fixed my little problem and thought I would share my top 5 new lipsticks that look great with my newly dyed dark brunette hair.
- MAC’s ‘Charmed I’m Sure’ from the Marilyn Monroe Collection. It is a beautiful blue red that is matte and gives a very 1950’s look when it contrasts with your dark tresses. MAC’S Russian Red is a very good duplication for this product.
- MAC’s ‘Diva’. This color is a deep burgundy that looks great on multiple skin tones and with many different hair colors. It looks beautiful and the dark lip contrast with your dark hair ever so nicely and looks great anytime of the year.
- MAC’s ‘Creme Cup’ is a light baby pink that will enhance your lips and just give them a flush of pink and it is great for everyday use when you want that girl next door look.
- MAC’s ‘Pure Zen’ is again from the MAC Marilyn Monroe collections and it is a great peachy nude that is great when you want a nude lip, but don’t want that dead look that some nude lipsticks can give. This looks great with a smokey eye.
- Last, but certainly not least it my favorite lipstick and it is a Coco Rouge Shine from Chanel in the color ‘Boy’ it a a dusty rose nude with a slight gold glitter that acts as that lipstick that is your lip color, but better. I love this for every day from work to school to just being lazy around the house.
How simple was that? 5 lipsticks that are staples in my collections, because you can do so much with these colors. What are your favorite lipsticks? Let me now so I can find some more and let me know if any of you have tried these lipsticks and what you think about them!
