With hair trends arising on a daily basis, at times it may seem difficult to keep up. When in doubt, it’s always a great idea to look to the past for inspiration. Amongst the many beauty icons is actress, Farrah Fawcett. With her hair as a memorable trademark, there’s no secret to why her ‘do’ will always be a classic. Follow the steps below to master this timeless look!

  1. Start with wavy or curled hair. This will be the foundation of the finished look.
  2. Take a section from the frame of your face. Start on whichever side you prefer. With a curling iron (or flat iron) flip hair out away from your face.
  3. Continue step 2 until all hair framing your face is curled out away from your face.
  4. Take your bangs and curl them back like the frame of your face.
  5. Finish off with hair spray! Voila!

Keep in mind Farrah’s hair wasn’t necessarily ‘polished’. The key to her style was that it looked effortless. Once your finished curling, feel free to run your fingers through a few times to give it that wind blown effect. The best part is that this style is focused around the frame and bangs of your hair, meaning this look can be achieved on most lengths! Enjoy!
